Growing up in a united and loving family, I have been taught about the importance of reliability, honesty and respect. Values and manners are two of the most important foundations that people need to possess in order to function as admirable and respectable individuals.
My educational career has been an exciting and self-fulfilling one. Growing up in Colombia until the age of thirteen, I had the opportunity to learn to read, write, and speak fluent Spanish; thus, language is a nonexistent barrier in situations in which I need to help Spanish-speaking individuals. After I turned thirteen years old, I moved to the United States to continue my education. I attended Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, TX and graduated in three years, as a Junior, as a result of my effort and dedication. After high school, I received my Associates degree from Lone Star College, prior to transferring to the University of Houston to pursue a minor degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development.
Helping and assisting others has always been of great interest to me, regardless of the situation. It is important to understand that in today’s fast-paced society, many people encounter difficulties and unforeseen, abrupt situations that arise and cause people to have a negative, deprecating experience that could potentially be of great psychological, and physical damage. It is my priority to assist people in these situations during the investigation process of their case in order to alleviate their inconveniences in a timely and effective manner.
